Family, newborn & milestone photographer
You did it, you book your family Holiday photos! But now you have to figure out what everyone is going to wear. Don’t worry, I’m here to help. Below is an amazing guide to help you with colors, textures and how to coordinate your family’s outfits to get the best out of your photos.

Coordinate Your Colors
Try to select 2 to 3 complimentary colors that work well in the same color palette. For instance, dark blues, creams and dark green. You can also have a person wear dark red to add in a pop of holiday color. Make sure to pay attention to your selected backdrop too and pay attention to the colors in it.
Solids & Patterns
Try to only have 1 person in a pattern and the rest solids to not overwhelm your photos. Maybe dad or son in a plaid shirt and the rest solids. You can also add in some texture with knitted sweaters. However, if you want to have some fun and wear pjs, well then go for it and do fun festive matching outfits.
If you are doing my Awkward Galaxy setup, I highly recommend throwing all this advise out the window. Got nuts! Wear ugly sweaters or fun 80’s outfits.
