Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming deciding where to take your photos. No worries, I’m here to help!! There are so many beautiful locations that are the perfect backdrop for your session. The two most popular type of locations that are perfect for any type of session are parks and beaches. There are a wide variety of local parks, each with unique features and wonderful areas. There are a ton of beaches, but there are two in particular I love to visit as they are public, not too crowded, have rolling grassy hills and of course cotton candy skies. Below are my favorite locations with all their wonderful features.
Which one will be your next photography session?!
This is my absolute favorite park! It has wide open grassy areas, a forest treeline full of pine trees, a pond and overgrown grass in the Fall with colorful trees in the far back.
Another beautiful park to visit. This park has so much to offer. Stone walls, wooden bridges, open grassy areas, wood fencing, a river, sometimes a small waterfall and if you catch it at the right time blooming flowers!
Love old world charm, then this is the park for you! After a few minute walk, you see this old stone mansion appear. There is a beautiful courtyard in the front and then a small garden to the side with a stone stairway. Head to the back and you’ll see a wide open area with tree lines, a stone bench and the green french doors.
Don’t let this smaller, more quaint park fool you! The entrance of the park starts off with a beautiful terrace right off the main st of the waterfront. There are open grassy areas, a wooden bridge, cute benches, a long river, under bridge and a walking path.
This is my absolute favorite beach to take photos at! I start of at a section with old wood fencing and grassy rolling hills. Then the entire beach opens up to the soft sandy beach and a walkway. I’ll end all my sessions along the water with all the crashing waves. It’s best when the sun is just about to set and you capture the color sky!
The perfect beach if you live a little more northern MA. This beach also has an entrance with wooden fencing and grassy areas to start off in. It opens onto the beach and the water, which is absolutely perfect for photos. There is a small fee to park, but it is absolutely worth it for beautiful beach photos.
